About Me
I'm passionate about assessing the spontaneous movement patterns of infants, which can provide early indicators of neurological development. These assessments take place while neonates are inpatient, and I continue to collaborate remotely on their post-discharge evaluations through the Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic. These evaluations are especially useful for identifying infants at risk for conditions such as cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities.
As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specializing in the smallest and most fragile patients in the NICU, I’m particularly interested in following them outpatient and helping guide families to access the resources in their communities that best support their child’s unique needs.
As a neonatal transport team leader, I never underestimate the trust that families place in us as we stabilize their infant and initiate a transfer to the NICU. This often means their baby is traveling by ambulance with our team to a hospital several hours away from their recovering birth parent. I’m grateful for the honor of transporting babies across Vermont and New York, supported by a highly trained transport team and specialized equipment to provide intensive care en route.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my twin stepsons, my daughter and my husband. I love cross-country skiing, hiking and spending time on the lake.
