About Me
Helping patients recover from severe critical illness and get back to their lives is one of the most rewarding aspects of my career. I enjoy helping patients through what may be one of the most stressful periods of their lives.
My clinical interests include critical care medicine, cardiothoracic anesthesia, transesophageal echocardiography, POCUS, ARDS, shock and blood conservation.
In addition to my frequent care of patients in surgical intensive care, my special procedures include TEE, POCUS and regional anesthesia.
I act as an associate professor of anesthesiology for the UVM Larner College of Medicine. My research interests include POCUS, 3D TEE, acute lung injury, blood conservation and ventilator-induced lung injury.
