I deeply value the trust that patients and families place in the obstetric anesthesia team while navigating difficult and stressful medical events.
I’m incredibly passionate about caring for women during childbirth. My primary goals are to ensure the safety of both mothers and babies while promoting physical and mental health, comfort and recovery.
For the past 30 years, I’ve dedicated myself to this goal. As Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology at University of Vermont Medical Center, I promote careful communication, evaluation and individualized anesthesia care for each patient to promote a lasting positive impact of their childbirth experience.
I’m committed to the well-being of both patients and their unborn babies, continuously collaborating with the nursing and obstetric team to enhance safety and improve outcomes and recovery.
