About Me
I became interested in physical therapy as a teenager after enjoying many health-care–related television shows and participating in a variety of sports. Physical therapy offered the perfect combination of athleticism and caring for people, which led me to pursue it as a career.
Continuing education has always been important to me. I have consistently taken one to three continuing education courses each year throughout my career. I aim to provide patients with knowledge about their diagnosis so they can better understand their condition and, hopefully, feel more engaged in the recommendations I make to improve their health or reduce their pain. Through various continuing education courses, I have also taken classes related to pain education. I enjoy sharing this information with patients to help them better understand the meaning of their pain, especially when it comes to chronic pain.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and staying active through hiking, cycling, walking my dogs, swimming and downhill skiing. I also recently started learning to play the bagpipes.
I aim to provide patients with knowledge about their diagnosis so they can better understand their condition.
