About Me
Serving others has always been a passion of mine, and I am deeply motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. Whether helping patients regain their voice after a critical illness, supporting recovery of swallowing and communication following a stroke or taking the time to truly listen to concerns, I find fulfillment in providing thoughtful, patient‑centered care.
I am especially grateful for the trust my patients place in me and find it rewarding to see their progress — not only in function, but in confidence and quality of life. I have a growing clinical interest in managing multifactorial dysphagia, particularly when an esophageal component such as GERD or motility disorders is involved. I am also passionate about supporting patients with complex symptoms that may not fit neatly within a single discipline, and I place a strong emphasis on patient education and evidence‑based strategies to support swallowing function and overall well‑being.
While always working within my scope of practice, I strive to take a collaborative and holistic approach so patients feel supported, validated and empowered. I reflect regularly on my clinical experiences and continually seek opportunities for both personal and professional growth, guided by meaningful patient interactions that shape how I practice and deepen my empathy.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, reading and sharing time with friends and family. I have recently taken up cooking with the support of my partner, and we enjoy creating and enjoying unique meals together. At home, I love caring for my pets — my cats, Gigi and Frankie and my dog, Nova — who bring joy and balance to my life.
While always working within my scope of practice, I strive to take a collaborative and holistic approach so patients feel supported, validated and empowered.
