About Me
I was drawn to medicine because it brings together critical thinking, teamwork and meaningful patient relationships. Early in my nursing career, I realized how much I value helping patients navigate complex health challenges and understand their options so they can make confident decisions about their care.
What I find most rewarding is building trust with patients and supporting them through significant health changes. Many of the people I work with are making long-term commitments to improve their well-being, and I feel privileged to help them feel informed, prepared and supported throughout that process.
I focus on patient education and surgical preparation because I believe informed patients have better outcomes. I prioritize clear explanations, realistic expectations and creating an environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their care. My practice is shaped by the belief that every patient deserves to be heard and treated with dignity and respect. I emphasize careful listening, clear communication and taking concerns seriously so care plans reflect what matters most to each individual.
Outside of medicine, I stay active through weight lifting, running and biking, and I spend as much time outdoors as I can. I enjoy gardening, trying new recipes and fostering dogs, which keeps life busy in the best way.
