About Me

I love building lasting relationships with children and their families and helping make a difference during some of life's most important moments. I was drawn to pediatrics because it combines the learning of medicine with the privilege of caring for patients from their newborn days through their teen years while supporting caregivers through everyday questions and unexpected challenges.

My goal is to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, supported and confident in their care. I enjoy caring for newborns and supporting breastfeeding families, as well as providing adolescents with compassionate, evidence-based sexual and reproductive health care. I also have a strong interest in pediatric mental health, helping children, adolescents and their families build resilience and develop healthy coping skills.

I have a special passion for caring for children with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder. Before medical school, I worked as a special education teacher and later as a developmental specialist in early intervention. Those experiences continue to shape my approach to caring for children and partnering with families.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, weightlifting, yoga, meditation, hiking, gardening, cooking, sewing and reading.

My goal is to create a welcoming environment where families feel heard, supported and confident in their care.
