CVPH Employees Plan Concert on the Lawn with Losing Focus
First of several events focused on fundraising, community support and teambuilding
PLATTSBURGH, NY - A free concert on the lawn is planned for Wed., Sept. 24 at University of Vermont Health Network – Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital (CVPH). The evening of fun begins at 6 pm when Losing Focus takes the stage and includes a bake sale and The Food Dudes, food truck. Proceeds from the bake sale benefit the Janice McLean Employee Assistance Fund held by the Foundation of CVPH. Donations are welcome.
This event is offered by The Giving Shift, a group of like-minded employees whose goal is to strengthen the bond between coworkers while making a meaningful difference in the community. “We aim to organize fun, engaging and purposeful fundraising initiatives that benefit our team and the people around us,” explained Shawn Baker, RN, Giving Shift leader.
The Janice McLean Employee Assistance Fund provides financial assistance to hospital employees in crisis.
Parking is conveniently located in the Medical Office lots, just off the hospital’s Cornelia Street entrance. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket. Please no glass containers or alcohol.
