BERLIN, Vt., - Todd Daloz, a veteran public servant with years of experience in public health, safety and state leadership has joined the Board of Trustees for University of Vermont Health – Central Vermont Medical Center.

“We are thrilled to welcome Todd to the Board of Trustees,” said Board Chair Erica Hare. “His depth of experience in health policy, paired with his proven leadership in statewide collaborative governance, brings tremendous strength to our organization. Todd’s insight and commitment will be instrumental as Central Vermont Medical Center navigates a rapidly evolving health care landscape and continues to advance our mission of delivering outstanding, community-centered care across Central Vermont.”

Daloz, who joined the board earlier this month, brings deep experience in Vermont’s legal, health and human services systems, as well as strong ties to communities across Central Vermont. He has served as a board member for Montpelier Alive, the Vermont Humanities Council, and the Vermont Board of Bar Examiners.

“I am honored to join the CVMC Board of Trustees,” said Daloz. “As a Middlesex resident, I care deeply about the well-being of Central Vermont and the vitality of communities that make this region so special. I’m committed to bringing my experience in public policy and statewide collaboration to support CVMC and UVM Health as we continue working hand-in-hand with the state of Vermont to transform our health care system. It’s a privilege to contribute to this important work and advance our mission of delivering high-quality, accessible care for every person who calls Central Vermont home.”

Daloz currently serves as Assistant Attorney General and Director of Policy and Legislative Affairs in the Vermont Attorney General’s Office. From 2022 to 2024 he served as Deputy Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Human Services (AHS), where he played critical roles in statewide responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, the July 2023 flooding recovery and initiatives supporting policy safety, community resilience and housing stability. Daloz previously served as general counsel for AHS, and from 2011 to 2016 as an Assistant Attorney General.
