Malone, NY - The 5K Pumpkin Run & Munchkin Mile, set for Saturday, Sept. 26, at Malone Rec Park, celebrates fitness for all ages and abilities while supporting workforce development programs for employees of the University of Vermont Health Network - Alice Hyde Medical Center (AHMC). AHMC is hosting the event.

The Munchkin Mile begins at 10 am, followed by the 5K at 10:30 a.m. Register online at www.uvmhealth.org/PumpkinRun. Registration is $25 for adults and $10 for children through Sept. 26.  Race-day registration, (online or on-site), is $30 for adults and $15 for children. Check-in opens at 9 am.

Event Details

• Munchkin Mile (ages 10 and under): A one-mile route within Malone Rec Park. Each participant will receive a pumpkin bag and goodies.
• 5K Pumpkin Run: A scenic course through the park trails. All 5K participants are eligible for a share of more than $2,500 in prizes, including cash, a season pass to Titus Mountain and more.
