A Night of Health, Laughter and Connection
ECH invites women to an evening of learning and self-care
Elizabethtown, NY – What if taking care of your health felt less like an appointment and more like a night out with friends?
That's the idea behind the upcoming Women's Health Forum, taking place on Friday, October 23 at 5 pm at Boquet Valley Central School. Hosted by University of Vermont Health Network – Elizabethtown Community Hospital, the free community event brings together health education, wellness resources and opportunities to connect with local organizations.
Guests will also enjoy live music, refreshments and a comedy performance. Whether someone is looking for practical health information, local support resources or simply a chance to spend time with friends, the event aims to provide a welcoming environment where women can learn, laugh and leave feeling empowered to take charge of their health.
Organizers hope the event will encourage women to prioritize their well-being while providing an enjoyable evening that brings people together.
The Women's Health Forum is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Anyone interested can sign up online or call 518-585-3761.

About University of Vermont Health Network
University of Vermont Health Network is a rural academic health system with more than 100 years of service to small towns and cities across Vermont and northern New York. We are deeply committed to reimagining rural health in ways that will benefit our communities for generations to come and keep exceptional care close to home. Our system includes an academic medical center, two community hospitals, three critical access hospitals, a children’s hospital, a cancer center, a multispecialty medical group, 154 outpatient sites and care beyond the hospital through home health, hospice care, four skilled nursing facilities and other support services. Our care is informed by an essential partnership with University of Vermont’s The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine and College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Together, as a health system serving a rural area, we are tackling health care’s biggest challenges — supporting the communities we serve and investing in our employees by addressing housing affordability, quality childcare and professional development needs.
