About Our Location

At University of Vermont Health, we value our strong partnerships with community stakeholders and elected officials. The Government and Community Relations Department serves as the bridge between our health system, elected officials and the communities we serve.
 
The Government Relations team advocates for our health system on the local, state and national levels. Our team meets regularly with local, state and federal representatives, collaborates with our hospital trade associations, works to find and apply for state and federal grant funding and monitors the ever-shifting regulatory landscape.
 
The Community Relations team has deep relationships with community leaders, business owners and key influencers in our Vermont and northern New York communities. The team supports major operational and facilities initiatives at our hospitals, represents our health system on boards and committees and manages the University of Vermont Health and University of Vermont Medical Center sponsorship programs.
