Judy Schaechter, MD, MBA, serves as Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont’s Robert Larner, MD, College of Medicine and Chief of Pediatrics at Golisano Children’s Hospital at University of Vermont Health. A nationally recognized pediatrician and academic leader, Dr. Schaechter previously served as Division Director at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Violence Prevention, President and CEO of the American Board of Pediatrics, and Chair of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine and holds an MBA from the University of Miami.
