Vollmer has worked in health care leadership for more than 15 years and brings deep operational experience, including in health care organizations dedicated to cardiology, oncology, urology and radiology. She holds a Master of Jurisprudence in health law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Vollmer enjoys gardening, landscaping and hiking.
