Chair, Department of Dermatology
Dr. Joseph C. Pierson is a dermatologist and department chair of dermatology at University of Vermont Health, where he previously served as Residency Program Director for over a decade. Dr. Pierson is retired from active duty military service and was the prior Chief of Medicine at Fort Knox, KY and Primary Care at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY, as well as his specialty’s Consultant to the U.S. Army Surgeon General and a veteran of tours in Iraq, Afghanistan and Haiti. He is on the editorial board for the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology.
