Dr. Jeffrey Peipert is chair of the department of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive sciences at UVM Larner College of Medicine and University of Vermont Health. An internationally recognized physician-scientist, Dr. Peipert has authored more than 300 publications.
Over the course of his 36-year career, Dr. Peipert has held leadership roles in numerous national organizations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, and the Planned Parenthood Federation of America. His contributions to reproductive health have earned him several prestigious honors, including the Brown University School of Public Health’s Alumni Impact Award (2023) and the Alan F. Guttmacher Lectureship Award from the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (2014) — a distinction reserved for leading figures in reproductive science and care.
