Anne Dixon, MD

Dr. Dixon is a pulmonologist and chair of the department of medicine. She is the E.L Amidon endowed chair of medicine, as well as a tenured professor of medicine at UVM Larner College of Medicine.

An internationally recognized physician-scientist, Dr. Dixon specializes in asthma and lung diseases related to obesity and metabolic dysfunction. Her numerous honors include the UVM Health Medical Group’s Senior Investigator of the Year award, the American Thoracic Society Distinguished Achievement Award and recognition as a Larner College of Medicine Research Laureate and UVM University Scholar.
