Join Porter Medical Center's Palliative Support Services for the fifth annual Stories from the Heart, an evening of live storytelling inspired by The Moth. This year's theme, Honoring the Spirits of Those Who Have Left This World, explores experiences of loss, grief, healing and remembrance through the personal stories of local community members.
Five storytellers will share heartfelt, unscripted stories from their own lives, offering an opportunity for reflection, connection and compassion.
Following the program, attendees are invited to walk a luminary-lit path to the Henry Sheldon Museum to honor loved ones at the Community Memory Altar. The evening will conclude with candlelight remembrance accompanied by live harp music.
Doors at Town Hall Theater will open at 6 pm on the 14th and stories begin at 6:30 pm.
