Rally Against Cancer: UVM Women's Basketball vs. UMBC

Rally Against Cancer games are an annual campaign to raise awareness for cancer research taking place locally at the UVM Cancer Center. This game is UVM Women's Basketball vs. UMBC.

This winter, the UVM Cancer Center and UVM Athletics in partnership with Mascoma Bank raised awareness about cancer screening and prevention through the annual Rally Against Cancer hockey and basketball games. Fans are encouraged to wear lavender as a show of support for all cancer types.

Patients and care givers are honored during a ceremonial puck drop at both Hockey games and fans celebrate patients journey during the Hero of the Gut recognition.
