Event Details
Join Alice Hyde Medical Center for the 5K Pumpkin Run & Munchkin Mile, a family-friendly fall event that brings together fitness, community, and fun for all ages and abilities. Scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Malone, New York, the event welcomes runners, walkers, and spectators to enjoy a festive day in support of local healthcare.
Participants can choose from two events:
- Munchkin Mile (ages 1–10): Beginning at 10:00 a.m.
- 5K Pumpkin Run (ages 5 and older): Beginning at 10:30 a.m.
The event features a scenic course through Malone Recreational Park, showcasing beautiful autumn views. Races begin and end at the Kelly Pavilion, creating a central hub for race-day activities and family fun. Participants are encouraged to wear pumpkin-themed attire, and 5K runners can take part in the popular Great Pumpkin Challenge by carrying a pumpkin throughout the race. Children participating in the Munchkin Mile will receive a pumpkin to decorate and take home.
In addition to the races, more than $2,000 in prizes will be awarded, including cash prizes, a Titus Mountain season pass, and other giveaways. Every 5K finisher is automatically entered into the prize drawings.
Registration Information
Registration is currently open through RunSignup. Early registration pricing is available through August 30, 2026:
- 5K Pumpkin Run: $20 early registration ($30 after August 30)
- Munchkin Mile: $8 early registration ($15 after August 30)
The event will be held rain or shine, and registration fees are non-refundable.
