Allott, a Westport, New York, native is the tenth of 14 children. Her father, Dr. Robert Lopez (Doc), was a local veterinarian and 1980 Olympic torch bearer. After 20 years away, Allot returned with associate, bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing, along with broad clinical experience. She earned a graduate certificate in public health while serving as director of preventive services at the Essex County Health Department. Retired since 2021, she continues part-time as a registered nurse at Essex County Mental Health. Allott organizes the annual Doc Lopez Run for Health in Elizabethtown and Keene and is known for her deep understanding of local needs and strong regional partnerships.
Allott lives in Elizabethtown with her husband, Jeff, and has three adult children. Her family owns Otis Mountain, where they maintain trails and sponsor events.
