Originally from the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, Sanchez is currently the superintendent of the Rutland Northeast Supervisory District. His 30 years of experience in education includes serving as a high school principal for 12 years in Texas and as an assistant superintendent in South Bend, Indiana, where he oversaw human resources, transportation and COVID-19 response.
Sanchez earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame, his juris doctor from the Ohio State University, and his master’s from the University of Texas at Austin.
