Erica Metzger Hare is the chief executive Officer of Aspire Living & Learning, a $100M multistate human services nonprofit headquartered in Vermont that supports neurodiverse adults and children across five states. She assumed the CEO role in July 2025, having joined Aspire in 2019 as its Chief Financial Officer.
With a career rooted in mission-driven health care and human services organizations, Erica has held senior leadership roles at Mount Sinai Hospital, NYU Medical Center, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, and Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she served a decade as EVP and CFO. She began her career at Accenture, specializing in regulatory change management.
Hare holds a BA from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business. She chairs the Board of Central Vermont Medical Center, is a UVM Health trustee, and co-founded of ElevateHer, a professional women's networking organization. She resides in the Upper Valley of Vermont.
