Hare is the chief financial officer of Aspire Living & Learning, a multi-state human services agency with more than 1,200 employees. A seasoned executive, Hare has broad experience across the health care, human services, nonprofit and higher education industries. She was the executive vice president for administration and chief financial officer of the Vermont College of Fine Arts from 2009 to 2019. Prior to that, she held progressive managerial and administrative roles with New York City hospitals, including Columbia University Medical Center, New York University Medical Center and The Mount Sinai Medical Center. She began her career as a management consultant with Accenture.
Hare is commissioner of the Vermont Commission on Women, co-founder of ElevateHer VT, treasurer of Beth Jacob Synagogue and serves on the finance committee of Orchard Velley Waldorf School. She received a bachelor’s degree from Mount Holyoke College and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
