Why Share Your Location?

Sharing your location helps us personalize your experience. You’ll see clinics and services near you—saving time and reducing travel.

Your privacy matters: We only use your location to display nearby options and never store or share it.

Why Can’t We See Your Location?

Sometimes your browser won’t let us detect your location. It may be because:

• You previously told your browser not to share your location with our site.
• Your company restricts location sharing on work devices. (If settings are grayed out or you can’t change them, contact your IT team.)
• UVM Health employees using Edge: Enter your location manually. Do not contact IT.

Below are easy steps for the most popular browsers. If you're using a different one, try searching online for:

Google Chrome

1. Open Chrome.
2. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
3. Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Location.
4. Toggle “Sites can ask for your location” to ON.

Microsoft Edge

Steps:

1. Open Edge.
2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) > Settings.
3. Go to Cookies and site permissions > Location.
4. Toggle “Ask before accessing (recommended)” to ON.

Mozilla Firefox

Steps:

1. Open Firefox.
2. Click the menu (≡) > Settings.
3. Go to Privacy & Security > Permissions > Location > Settings.
4. Choose to allow or block location access per site.

Safari (macOS and iOS)

macOS Steps:

1. Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
2. Enable Location Services and ensure Safari is checked.

iOS Steps:

1. Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services.
2. Ensure Location Services are ON.
3. Scroll to Safari Websites and set to While Using the App or Ask.
