Hey y'all, Elizabeth here! I'm originally from the Midwest and spent 6 years in Boston while completing my M.S. and M.D. at Tufts University School of Medicine. On the residency interview trail, I was looking for a nurturing and supportive residency program with genuinely nice, down-to-earth people, and UVM fit and exceeded these expectations. I frankly could not ask for a better group of co-residents who are always so supportive, caring, generous, and fun. Clinically, I have interests in adolescent medicine, LGBTQ+ health, and child psychiatry and am therefore part of the integrated child track program. Burlington is also of course an incredibly beautiful place to live with activities constantly happening among the residents and in the community. (The lack of big-city traffic is an added bonus!)
