I grew up in Hot Springs, a national park town in the state of Arkansas! I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Hendrix College and then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. I was looking for an adventure during residency and definitely found that in the University of Vermont! My husband and I participated in the couples match and are so happy to have found a place that is a good fit for us both. The people are kind, the training experiences are comprehensive, and Burlington is a beautiful place to call home. This state has so much to offer, and I’m excited to explore it one festival at a time. While I don’t yet know the path my career will take, I am currently interested in women’s mental health as well as working with adolescents and young adults. My life outside of the hospital is spent with family and friends, eating great food, doing arts and crafts, visiting new places, and just being a normal girl who likes to shop and watch Netflix.
