Our Residents

We are thrilled to announce that our Urology residency is expanding! Our program will recruit two interns every other year starting in the fall of 2025 for the 2026-2027 academic year.

James Ryan, MD

PGY-5 Urology Resident

Our chief resident, Dr. Ryan, graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a graduate of Cornell University with a BS in Biological and Life Sciences.

Davis Moore, MD

PGY-4 Urology Resident

Dr. Moore graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He earned his BA in Biology from the University of Virginia.

Jeffrey Sioufi, MD CM

PGY-3 Urology Resident

Dr. Sioufi graduated from the McGill School of Medicine in Montreal. He is also a MSc Experimental Surgery candidate at McGill and his master's thesis will focus on communication during robotic surgery simulations. While in medical school, he founded the MSS Anatomy Club, an anatomy tutoring initiative for medical students. Dr. Sioufi is an Urology representative for the GME Resident/Fellow Representative Council. When not at the hospital, his hobbies are singing and travelling.

Jessica Dobler, MD

PGY-2 Urology Resident

Dr. Dobler graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York and earned her BA in Biological Sciences from Cornell University. Past urologic research has focused on the role of uterine fibroids in urinary retention, the effect of anticholinergics in kidney stone formers, and the molecular mechanisms of renal cell carcinoma in patients with Birt-Hoff Dubé syndrome. Dr. Dobler grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado and loves to return to visit her family's greyhound mix, Penny. While not at work, she enjoys distance running, downhill skiing, cycling, and reading fantasy novels.

Cole Ossian, MD, MS

PGY-1 Urology Resident

Dr. Ossian graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He earned both his BA and Master of Science in Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Kevin Petrillo, MD

PGY-1 Urology Resident

Dr. Petrillo is a dual graduate of Georgetown University, where he earned a BS in Biology before receiving his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine. His academic interests include genitourinary trauma and robotic surgery, and his prior research has focused on penetrating urologic injuries and urethral reconstruction. Dr. Petrillo was born and raised in Herndon, Virginia. Outside of medicine, he enjoys reading Greek mythology, playing lacrosse and disc golf, and exploring local breweries and cideries with his wife.
