Mushky grew up in Brooklyn, New York and went to college at Yeshiva University where she majored in biochemistry. After college she spent a year in culinary school studying the art of French cooking. She then went to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York and then stayed there for residency in Adult Neurology. She chose the UVM Medical Center for her neuromuscular fellowship for the personable and family-friendly faculty, and clinical excellence in many areas of Neuromuscular medicine. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her husband and two children, sampling lots of local coffee, and traveling to the beautiful surrounding areas.
