I did most of my growing up in Pleasant View, TN, a Nashville suburb. I studied Neuroscience at Boston University before spending several years doing research on dopaminergic systems of the brain at Vanderbilt. I went on to medical school at the University of Cincinnati and stayed to complete residency in neurology. Now several months into fellowship, I am excited to be pursuing a career in neuromuscular medicine at UVMMC with a group of welcoming faculty who are turning out to be wonderful teachers and mentors. In my spare time, catch me baking some treats to share or identifying wildflowers. While in Vermont, I hope to learn how to snowshoe and bag some green mountain peaks.
