What attracted you to UVM Medical Center: UVMMC is an academic medical center and level I trauma center that truly cares about their employees, residents, and patients wholeheartedly. Throughout the interview process (for PGY1) and early commitment process for PGY2, every interaction I had with people at UVM Medical Center was positive, encouraging and supportive. Everyone truly wants you to learn and succeed which is the best environment for a resident! This program also provides a variety of rotation opportunities along with preceptors who are excited to teach!
What do you love most about VT: I love that everything in Burlington is so close and there is so much to do! You can go to the beach, a local concert, or hike and see waterfalls all within an hour. There truly is something fun to do during every season and everyone is so friendly and welcoming!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time: In my free time, I enjoy working out, running, hiking, and skiing. I also love watching Buffalo Bills football games and listening to audio books. Above all, I love exploring new restaurants/breweries, finding local events, and continuing to explore what Vermont has to offer!
