Application Requirements

Fellowship applications for the University of Vermont Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at the UVM Medical Center are submitted via Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  For the 2025-2026 application season we will participate in program signals.  We will consider all applications received, including those who signal our program and those who do not signal us.

We preferentially review applications received from July 16 to July 30; however, applications are accepted through September 1.  Individual interviews are scheduled from mid-August through October on Fridays.  All interviews are conducted virtually with a morning and afternoon session.

The Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship Program at UVM Medical Center participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Materials required from all applicants are:

  • Application
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal Statement
  • Dean's Letter

Successful completion of Steps 1, 2 (CK & CS) and Step 3 are required, of either the United States Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or both Level 1 & 2 (CE & PE) and Level 3 of the comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX).

D.O. applicants must be in or have completed an ACGME accredited residency program.
