A special note about living in Vermont and training at UVM: UVM offers excellent clinical training and academic opportunities in a supportive and energizing environment. We care for a diverse patient population with a wide range of pathologies, and the hospital’s commitment to serving rural communities is especially meaningful to me. As a Vermont native, I am so excited to continue my training here and enjoy everything this beautiful state has to offer.
Career interests or plans: Electrophysiology
Fun facts/hobbies: Hobbies include hiking, swimming, running, action movies, and enjoying local sweet treats.

A special note about living in Vermont and training at UVM: Having been at UVM for residency, I got to experience firsthand the incredible faculty, co-fellows, and staff this program has to offer. I feel very lucky to train with people who are not only some of the brightest in the field, but also the kindest, most supportive, and generous friends and mentors. Having lived in Burlington for a few years, I love the beautiful nature and outdoors activities, but also enjoy the easy access to Montreal and Boston.
Career Interests or Plans: So far loving everything in cardiology, and also have interests in teaching, global health, and research. We’ll see what the future holds!
Fun Facts/Hobbies: I’m a big foodie. Also love travel, badminton, glass work, Metal Earth models, and diving.

Special note about living in Vermont and training at UVM: Throughout my residency, I witnessed the cardiology fellows experience strong clinical training while balancing life outside of work. Vermont has been a great place to live with the variety of outdoor activities in all seasons and UVM has been a great place to train in residency and so far in fellowship.
Career Interests or Plans: Open minded – primarily interested in electrophysiology and/or general cardiology
Fun Facts/Hobbies: I enjoy cooking with my wife, Sydney (primary care extraordinaire!), weightlifting, spending time outside in BOTH the winter and summer with snowboarding, hiking, biking, running and chillin’ in the backyard with my dog, Otis, and cat, Jet.

About living in VT and training at UVM: I was drawn to UVM for its exceptional general cardiology training paired with the opportunity to gain meaningful exposure across subspecialties. The culture here is close-knit, supportive, and deeply collaborative, which makes coming to work every day both fulfilling and energizing. The accessibility of nature and ease of getting outdoors in Burlington is truly unmatched. Career plans: General cardiology, prevention, and cardiac imaging. Fun facts/Hobbies: Outside of medicine, I enjoy going to the gym, running, and hope to get back into skiing this year. My wife and I also love traveling internationally and discovering new places together.

About living in VT and training at UVM: I was drawn to UVM for its strong academic environment that supports careers in academic cardiology, along with the opportunity to gain exposure beyond general cardiology training. Additionally, Burlington is a beautiful city to live in! Career plans: I have a strong interest in academic cardiology. During my first year of fellowship, I plan to gain exposure to interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure/critical care, and intend to decide on pursuing additional subspecialty training by the end of the year Fun facts/Hobbies: I have been playing drums since I was 11. I love to play and attend live music!

A special note about living in Vermont and training at UVM: Vermont is such a beautiful place to be year-round and I was really looking to have a slower paced life outside of the hospital. I enjoyed my training at UVM for residency so much so that I stayed an extra year as chief resident. It is amazing how much fun you can have at work when you are seeing diverse pathologies and enjoy the people you work with. Career Interests of Plans: General, Prevention Fun Facts/Hobbies: I first learned how to ride a bike as an adult (in Vermont!) Outside of work I like going on the Burlington Bike Path, kayaking, and in general spending time on Lake Champlain. I hope to learn to ski by the time I am done with fellowship.

A special note about living in Vermont and training at UVMMC: I came to Vermont for the beautiful views and easy access to nature, but decided to stay for how supportive UVMMC has been. From day one as a resident, to my time as chief resident, and now starting cardiology fellowship I have always felt well supported and like everyone is committed to helping me be the best that I can be. UVMMC is definitely my second family. Career Interests or Plan: Still exploring the options cardiology has to offer. Fun Fact/Hobbies: Spending time with my wonderful wife (who is starting MFM fellowship here) and our 10-month-old son!

A special note about living in Vermont and training at UVM: I was struck by how palpable the warm camaraderie of this program was on interview day, despite it being entirely virtual my year. One month into fellowship and I can say that has certainly borne out. UVM Cardiology stuck out on the trail as a well-balanced program with both robust clinical training and strong academic roots. This is my first time living in Vermont and I’m excited to soak in all the natural beauty, food, and culture.

Facts/Hobbies: Hobbies include photography, cooking, non-strenuous outdoor activities, and going to plays, comedy shows, and art museums.

A special note about living in Vermont and training at UVM I am really excited to begin fellowship at UVM. The program camaraderie was very apparent during my interview day and immediately drew me to the program. Vermont is an incredible place to live and I am really excited to explore the state. Career Interests or Plans Interventional Fun Facts/Hobbies Hobbies include backpacking, weightlifting, reading, cooking, and stressing about Boston sports teams I love to cross country ski, but have never been downhill skiing before (hoping to rectify that this year)
