Application Requirements

Fellowship applications for the University of Vermont Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at UVM Medical Center are submitted via the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).

The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program at UVM Medical Center participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

Required Materials

Materials required from all applicants are consistent with the standard ERAS application. We request a minimum of three letters of reference with at least one letter being from the Residency Program Director.

International applicants must:

  • Have a J-1 Visa or have a U.S. citizen Permanent Resident status. No other Visas will be accepted. (H1B are not acceptable.)
  • Have a current certificate from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
  • Have completed a US-accredited Residency in Internal Medicine or Medicine/Pediatrics.
