- The Madison-Deane Education Fund was established soon after the deaths of Drs. Madison and Deane by their widows, Dr. Joan Madison and Mrs. Estelle Deane, who sought to memorialize their husbands’ shared vision of providing exceptional care for Vermonters who were dying.
- Pandemic-related impact on the global supply chain has caused a critical nation-wide shortage of intravenous (IV) contrast used for certain CT scans and other diagnostic procedures. Availability of this product is expected to be extremely limited until at least July 2022.
The University of Vermont Health Network has reached a renewal agreement with United for another year, through March 31, 2023.
As part of this agreement, United has agreed to allow continued patient access to laboratory and pharmacy services and they have also committed to address other policies that restrict how and when patients receive health care covered by their insurance plan.
Today, The University of Vermont Medical Center and Central Vermont Medical Center filed to request mid-year adjustments from the Green Mountain Care Board to their FY22 budgets, which went into effect on October 1, 2021. The request can be found here. Please be in touch with any questions.
