Porter Medical Center Appoints New CNO

Tiffany Love Joins Porter Medical Center in July.

MIDDLEBURY—Porter Medical Center has announced the appointment of Tiffany Love, PhD, GNP, ANP-BC, FACHE as its new Associate Vice President/Chief Nursing Officer. She will join Porter in July.

According to a statement from Porter President Tom Thompson, Love was “selected for this role following an extensive recruitment process and interviews involving Porter senior leaders, managers, nurses and other clinical staff.”

He added, “Tiffany is an accomplished nursing professional with diverse experience as a provider, administrative leader, educator, mentor, author, and consultant. Her experiences are a strong fit for the care settings, culture, and practice goals we have established for the CNO position in our leadership model.”

Love’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cleveland State University, advanced practice nursing degrees in gerontological and adult nurse practice from Case Western Reserve University, and a doctoral degree in healthcare research from Case Western Reserve University. She holds numerous professional certifications and is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She has served as a clinician and nurse leader for more than 25 years.

We are confident that her approach will grow and elevate the work of our nursing teams in support of Porter’s mission to care for our community” added Porter Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anna Benvenuto.
