Mastering Tough Conversations

TalkVermont’s Mastering Tough Conversations utilizes small group learning and deliberate practice techniques. Participants will adapt strategies to communicate about serious illnesses with honesty and compassion for the inpatient and outpatient settings for patients. This course focuses on communicating serious news and discussing what matters most to patients and their caregivers. Majority of the time in spent in small group practice. This course is based off of the evidence-based course, VitalTalk, which has shown to improve skills for practicing clinicians as well as patient care.

This is an in-person event at the Saranac Lake Waterfront Lodge.
