Volunteer at the UVM Medical Center

Welcome to the UVM Medical Center and thanks for your interest in joining our Volunteer Services Department.

We encourage the teamwork of employees and volunteers in order to offer our patients the best service possible. Volunteers contribute unique talents and skills infused with direct knowledge of our community. The personal touch that volunteers provide to our patients, families, visitors and staff is an essential part of the caregiving process.

Over 750 strong, volunteers contribute over 92,000 hours of service annually to our medical center and the community we serve.
