UVM Medical Center Vaccine Clinic at Champlain Valley Expo to Close Tuesday Due to Inclement Weather
Patients will not lose their opportunity to be vaccinated due to this temporary closure
BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont Medical Center is rescheduling Tuesday's COVID-19 vaccination appointments at the Champlain Valley Expo due to the impending winter storm that is forecasted to impact our region Monday evening through Tuesday.
Travel is expected to be difficult, and out of an abundance of caution, we are rescheduling appointments to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Patients will not lose their opportunity to be vaccinated due to this temporary closure.
Community health care workers or first responders set to receive a second dose of the Moderna vaccine on Tuesday will be contacted to reschedule appointments for later this week. Anyone in this group with questions can call 802-847-7235.
Patients who are 75 and older who were scheduled to be vaccinated Tuesday will also be contacted and rescheduled for later this week. They do not need to take any action for their appointments to be rescheduled.
We appreciate the community's patience and apologize for this inconvenience.
