Did you know your information will be included in the state of Vermont’s health exchange?

Find out what your options are when a new Vermont State Law goes into effect on March 1 changing how your health information can be shared.

The Vermont Health Information Exchange, operated by Vermont Information Technology Leaders (VITL), gathers patient health records from practices and hospitals across Vermont so that providers may seamlessly have patient information in real time. In accordance with Vermont state law, beginning March 1, your general health information will be shared electronically with the Vermont Health Information Exchange and viewable by participating providers treating you, unless you opt out.
