UVMHN Pharmacy Technician Testimonials
“As a Pharmacy Technician, I have expanded my knowledge of what it means to provide excellent patient care. I am able to put my creative skills to use making documents outlining processes that help with organization, training and workflow in the pharmacy. It is gratifying to work with the compassionate and collaborative pharmacy team we have here at CVMC.”
- Heather St. Jean, Pharmacy Technician, CVMC
“The amount of opportunities for growth at UVMMC has opened my eyes to just how crucial the pharmacy technician’s role is to patient care. While working in Inpatient Pharmacy, I was exposed to a much more hands-on approach to preparing medications for admitted patients, getting them critical medications as soon as possible, and being a part of caring for our patients at their most vulnerable of times. Now in Outpatient Pharmacy, we are often times the patient’s last stop before heading home from the hospital, and every one of us gives it our all to make sure the last stages of the discharge process happen smoothly and efficiently for every patient. We have so many resources here to give the best patient care I’ve ever been a part of, and I go home every day humbled about the difference we make in our community.”
