Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Telehealth Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting ongoing UVMHN’s telehealth programs. This position will be responsible with supporting all aspects of assigned programs including technology, billing, regulatory, credentialing, usage, reporting, and customer satisfaction. Daily duties can include issue resolution, end-user support, onsite training, and program assessments. A successful candidate will have strong technical aptitude and knowledge healthcare information systems. The coordinator will develop working relationships with departments throughout our healthcare organization to ensure the success of our telehealth programs and improving access to care for our patients.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, finance, nursing, health administration, or a related field required.
Experience:
Minimum of five years’ experience in healthcare, healthcare operations, or information technology, to include familiarity with health information technology and related regulatory requirement. Preferred to have some related experience in telehealth program strategy experience.
Knowledge/Special Skills:
Demonstrates business area and health care knowledge
Demonstrates telehealth technology, workflow, and policy knowledge
Basic knowledge of Project Management Institute body of knowledge
Understanding of healthcare IT, telecom, mHealth, and video technology
Familiarity with capability maturity models
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Understands application and business data and workflow
Understanding of clinical workflows
Outstanding people and presentation skills
