Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Network Epic Application Analyst provides support and maintenance of the software used in business and clinical processes. The individual is responsible for developing expertise in the use of the Epic electronic health record. Responsibilities include working closely with our end-users to understand their workflow and building relationships with our clinical partners. There is a responsibility to build relationships with the vendor and internal Information Services technical staff supporting business/clinical processes, and facilitating cohesive integration of software applications with business and clinical operations. The Network Epic Application Analyst is part of a team that provides on-call support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. The ability and means to regularly travel throughout the UVM Health Network is required. Occasional shift coverage will be expected.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or formal technical training or equivalent experience. Epic certification required or achieved within 120 days of hire with a maximum of three attempts.
