Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a strategic partner, the Physician Relations Specialist serves as a consultant to UVM Medical Group leadership and faculty on human resources issues and is the primary liaison between Human Resources and the UVM Medical Group faculty. Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs and seeks to develop integrated solutions. Partners with other areas of Human Resources to deliver value added service to UVM Medical Group leadership and faculty that supports the business objectives and cultural initiatives of the organization, while ensuring the timely and effective delivery of all HR services. Works on a daily basis as a change agent and champion to align faculty and leadership behaviors with the UVM Medical Group and UVMMC strategic goals & vision.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or Human Services is preferred. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of five years of experience in a Human Resources professional role is required. Must have previous experience resolving complex employee or physician relations issues. Prior experience in a healthcare setting or large multi-specialty practice setting is preferred.
