Your Child's MRI
At the UVM Children's Hospital, our goal is to make you and your child feel at ease throughout the process. Depending on what your child's needs are, we can offer two options for your child to watch a movie while in the MRI machine. (Please note: there are some scanners not equipped for movie set up). Your Child's MRI with an IV
In some instances, your child may need to be sedated during his/her MRI. In this case, you'll bring your child to the Comfort Zone and our Child Life Specialists will help walk you through the process and answer any questions you may have. View the video below to see the process:
