Neuroradiology at The UVM Medical Center
Neuroradiology is the branch of radiology that deals with the nervous system. The University of Vermont Medical Group providers at The University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington, VT, use many different methods to obtain images for the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the nervous system.
Imaging methods include the following:
- Diagnostic X-ray
- Computed Tomography (CT scan)
- Fluoroscopy
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- Nuclear Medicine
- Ultrasound
We currently perform the entire gamut of neurodiagnostic procedures, including high-field MRI, MR Spectroscopy and MR Angiography and with the latest in technological advances.
