The UVM Medical Center offers information on both local and national support groups.
Support groups connect people facing similar challenges. Many people find the support they receive from a group made up of people who share similar experiences very helpful in managing their own health challenges. The University of Vermont Medical Center provides access to support groups throughout Vermont to patients and their families dealing with various medical issues.
Support groups are also available across the country, so you can access help wherever you are located. Many group meetings are free.
If you are interested in a particular support group and cannot locate it on either list, or would like additional information on a listing, send an email at email@example.com or call 802-847-8821. You can also explore all of The UVM Medical Center's community health resources to see if you find what you are looking for.
