Guns & Weapons Policy at The UVM Medical Center
In the best interest of public safety, all weapons (guns, rifles, knives and other dangerous or deadly weapons) are prohibited in all facilities associated with The University of Vermont Medical Center, excluding those of law enforcement personnel.
Surveillance cameras are in use throughout the UVM Medical Center's campus and satellite locations.
Anyone possessing such items will be asked to secure them in their vehicle until they leave the property. Explosives are not permitted on any of The UVM Medical Center properties and the UVM Medical Center staff will not accept any type of explosive material for safekeeping.
