In conjunction with UVMHN Medical Group Leadership, this Director is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality performance standards for all facets of patient access (inclusive of appointment and telephone access) at the University of Vermont Health Network. The UVMHN MG Director Patient Access will report directly to the Executive Director of UVMHNMG and work closely with the Vice Presidents for Faculty and Community Practices as well as UVMHN MG Physician and Administrative Leadership across the network.
The UVMHN MG Director Patient Access will help create and deliver on a multiyear access strategy for our patients and referring providers within the context of both academic and community practice environments. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a passion for customer service in a health care setting. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a graduate degree in healthcare or business preferred. We are seeking an individual with at a minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in a health care management setting, inclusive of leadership experience in a patient access center, preferably in a multiple hospital network setting.
