Walk-in Advocacy Service Now Available at Frymoyer Community Health Resource Center

Start spreading the news! The Frymoyer Community Health Resource Center is now part of the Patient and Family Experience Department. What does this change mean?

The mission of the Frymoyer Center remains the same, helping patients, their family members and members of the community find the health information they need. It could be information on diseases and treatment, finding health care providers, finding local community resources or accessing hospital resources. We also offer other services like computer access, medical record request forms, Advance directives and nutrition services debit cards

One change is that the Center will be better integrated with Patient and Family Advocacy by having a Patient and Family Advocate located in the Frymoyer Center. Patient advocates look into and help resolve patient care-related complaints. They can also answer your questions about confidentiality and patient rights and can get you information about your care. Advocates are here to listen and to help. They also serve as a hospitality resource during challenging times. They can help connect you with the appropriate resource for lodging, meals and parking.

The walk-in advocacy service at the Frymoyer will be available Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. The Frymoyer Center has always provided patient-centered services and we look forward to this closer working relationship with Patient Advocacy.
