What attracted you to UVM Medical Center: The multitude of opportunities in specialty pharmacy and ambulatory care were what originally attracted me to UVM Medical Center. After interviewing, I was inspired by the enthusiasm shown by the program director and preceptors for the residency program. As an academic medical center, UVM Medical Center provides residents with various opportunities to advance their practice as a pharmacist. I was also drawn to the location of UVM Medical Center because it serves a large geographic population that relies on UVM Medical Center for many specialty clinics, the majority of which have pharmacists integrated in them.
What do you love most about VT: My favorite things about Vermont are the limitless outdoor activities. Every season in Vermont has something different to offer and beautiful views to go along with it. Burlington has many great restaurants and breweries to visit as well. Also, everything maple!
What do you enjoy doing in your free time: I love reading and being outdoors, especially hiking, skiing, and watching sunsets over Lake Champlain.

What attracted you to UVM Medical Center: I loved the personalities of the preceptors I interviewed with! I truly felt their excitement for the residency program and I felt I would be supported at UVM. The opportunity to receive a full year experience in ambulatory care, during my PGY-1 year, was extremely exciting, and I knew that UVM’s program would expose me to a wide variety of rotation experiences and disease states. The beautiful views, with plenty to do outside of the hospital, was an added bonus!
What do you love most about VT: The views are absolutely gorgeous! I love how you can see the mountains directly from the hospital and in just a short drive, you can enjoy the sunset on the lake. No matter the season, there is always something to do outdoors.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time: I love traveling, trying new restaurants, and I’ve even picked up playing pickleball after moving up here!
