**One required one-month primary care rotation will be off-site, at one of our Primary Care Clinics. These Clinics are approximately 10-20 minutes from your office space.
Required longitudinal rotations
- Drug Information
- Journal Club and Case Conference
- 0.75-hr meeting the third and fourth Tuesday of the month
- Outpatient Pharmacy Practice (Retail & Meds to Beds)
- Friday, Saturday, Sunday every third weekend starting in August/September
- Research
- 1-hr standing meeting once a month
- Specialty Pharmacy Distribution and on-call
- Every third Friday morning followed by staffing in the afternoon
- Specialty Pharmacy Quality and Administration
- 1-hr standing meeting once a month
- Teaching Certificate program (UCONN)
- 1-hr standing meeting twice a month
- Longitudinal Primary Care (4 months, immediately following primary care rotation)
- 1 full clinic day the first and third Wednesday of the month
- Managed Care at Blue Cross Blue Shield Vermont (5 months)
- 1 full clinic day the first and third Wednesday of the month
Required Projects:
- Medication Use Evaluation
- Local newsletter article (ie. P&T Newsletter or another identified newsletter outlet)
- Monograph
- Ambulatory/Specialty Pharmacy Grand Rounds (ie. One-hour ACPE accredited continuing education presentation)
- Manuscript development from research project
